Personal data that we process
When you book a room at Bed & Breakfast Landgoed de Grote Beek we ask you the following information:
- First and last name
We would like to be able to address you nicely in e-mails and when you are with us for your stay. That’s why we ask you for your name.
- E‑mail adress
We will send you e-mails about your reservation. And if you send us an e-mail, we will of course answer that.
- Telephone number
We want to be able to call you if there is something wrong with your reservation, for example.
Address details should be on a confirmation of your reservation, for which we use your address. And for nothing else.
- Time of arrival
We would like to know what time you will arrive when you stay with us, so that we can receive you properly. It is not mandatory to indicate this in advance.
- Information about activities on our website
We keep track of which pages are visited and, in some cases, which links are clicked. We do this in such a way that this data cannot be traced back to individual visitors. For example, we do not store IP numbers.
- Internet browser and device type
We keep track of which internet browser and which device visitors to our website use. Here too we ensure that this data cannot be traced back to individual visitors.
Special and/or sensitive personal data
We do not process any special and/or sensitive personal data on this website.
For which purpose we process personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To make a reservation
We use the information you have entered to reserve one or more rooms for you and to be able to email you a confirmation of the reservation.
- Customer service
If you call or email us, we will make a brief note of this. This way we can ensure that you don’t have to tell the same story again next time.
We want to make the use of the website and making reservations as easy as possible. That is why we collect statistics about the use of the website. They teach us which information is found interesting and which is not. And we can see if visitors can easily find their way in the website. For this we only use “aggregated” data, so no individual data that can be traced directly to you.
Website visitors younger than 16 years old
GGzE does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16 unless they have the permission of their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. As a parent, we recommend that you be involved in the online activities of your children, to prevent information about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that permission, please contact us and we will remove this information.
GGzE does not take decisions on the basis of automated processing about matters that may have (significant) consequences for you or other persons. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (such as an employee of Bed & Breakfast Landgoed de Grote Beek) among them.
How long we keep personal data
GGzE does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to provide you with the best possible service. In addition, we are required by law to store some data for a certain period of time. We use the following retention periods:
- With the exception of order invoices, we keep all data entered by you for 2 years.
- We keep invoices for 7 years. This is the legal retention period set by the tax authorities.
- We store the data about your activities on the website, internet browser and device type for 14 months.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
GGzE does not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the implementation of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. GGzE remains responsible for these processes.
